Isabella Pasternak has lost her job at food digital magazine. Her roommate and best friend Owen offers her a job ghostwriting a cookbook for TV actress, Molly Babcock, who has had some publicity issues lately. She takes the offer and when she meets with Molly finds her attitude about the book is not very thrilling. Isabella has issues with Molly and then quits the project until Molly asks her to come back. She starts to learn more about her and after an accident, Molly and Isabella reach a new understanding about the book and their friendship. Along the way Isabella finds love, has to deal with her crazy mother and figures out who she is. This is a great debut novel, with strong characters, a love story and lots of food that will make you hungry. A perfect summer beach read.
