Fifteen years ago Chloe and Sloane Morgan lost their mother to the Bayside Strangler, who was never got. Now today they have been investigating the case and have vanished. Kendra is asked to take a look at the case from the former cop who worked it back then and ends up being killed, and more bodies start turning up, and the Bayside Killer is back. Kendra finds her own life in jeopardy on numerous occasions, and Lynch is back to help her out. With the police and the FBI also on the case, Kendra and Lynch are the ones to figure things out, and it leads to a climactic showdown, and lives being lost. This is the eleventh book in the series and another good one. The writing is strong and the relationship between Kendra and Lynch is dynamic and fun to follow along with. Fans of the series will be happy with this one.
