Ellen Walsh is married to Adam, they have twin young sons, and a fifteen-year-old daughter. They have a new house which needs some fixing up. They have friends in the area, and everything should be going good for them. But someone is out to get Ellen. She receives letters in the mail, someone is posting old Facebook pics of her, making her look bad, someone has called the police suspecting her of drunk driving, and social services is now looking into her. She has no idea why any of this is happening. Yes she has secrets, as do other characters in the book, and slowly they come out, and soon she finds her life in danger, from someone she thought she could trust. A twisty, psychological thriller, that keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering who and what will happen next. Another good novel from author Frear.
