Book Review: ‘Finlay Donovan Jumps The Gun: A Novel’ By Elle Cusimano

Finlay Donovan has a lot of issues going on as the third novel in the series begins. She has to do re-writes to her novel, pay off a loan shark that Vero, he nanny and good friend owes money to, and figure out who EasyClean is for Russian mob boss Felix Zhirov, before he exposes all she has done. She’s been searching for EasyClean for while now, and thinks it’s someone in law enforcement, so she and Vero decide to go to a police academy course, and investigate the local police department that will be there. Their sluething pays off eventually, as does the next step in her romance with Detective hottie Nick, and the lies continue to grow as well. Finlay and Vero has a lot of explaining to do, while trying to keep themselves protected. Another fun novel in the series, not as good as the first one, but fans of the series will be happy.
