Dale Figgo lives in South Florida and is a white supremacist and has his own group that he intends to use to take back America. On this night he’s throwing hate packets in an exclusive rich neighborhood when he hits a man with his truck. Viva is his tenant and doesn’t put up with crap. She knows what he’s up to and tries to talk him out of things and reports to his mother who owns the house. She meets Twilly, who is rich, has been in trouble with the law and tries to do the right things. Knowing Dale is up to no good, he joins the group as a spy and works with Viva to try and undermine the group. Throw in a crazy rich couple, a crooked congressman, and a call girl who has the power to take him down and you’ve got one hell of a novel. This is a fun, twisty, soapy, laugh-out-loud story that is a pleasure to read. I have never read one of author Hiaasen’s novels before and I will read them from now on!
