Tara Chen has just switched apartments, and now lives with hunky firefighter, and ladies man Trevor Metcalfe, best friends with her soon-to-be brother-in-law Scotty. They become fast friends, as they have a lot in common, they just don’t know it. Tara has been a loser in the love department, and decides to go back and track down her 10 old boyfriends, and see if anything has changed with them. Maybe one of them is meant to be her soul mate. As she sees them again, and finds that they are not the ones, she crosses them off her board. All the while her true love might be right in front of her, and they don’t want to admit it, as each has issues. Can they put aside those issues, and open up to each other, and maybe find that happy ever after? It’s only the beginning of the new year, and already this one is on the top-ten list of rom-coms for the year. This novel is great. You get invested in these two characters, follow Tara’s journey, and root for them to be together. A nice way to start off the new year.

You can pick up Exes And O’s in stores on Tuesday, January 10th from Berkley.
