Emma Woodhouse is 23 years old, lives on the Upper East Side of New York, spoiled and her family is rich. Right next door is George Knightey, handsome, and rich as well. They grew up together, along with his brother Ben, and her sister Margo, who married Ben. Emma and Knightley have a love/hate relationship, like brother and sister. But things have changed for them, and they end up falling for each other, but don’t want to admit it. Until they just can’t keep their hands off each other, and have mind-blowing sex (with some hot scenes written). But can this new-found lust turn into something more? This is a really well-written rom-com (the author’s debut novel), that has everything you want, including funny supporting characters like her dad, and her neighbor who loves to drink. Fans of rom-coms will want to read this one, perfect for the beach or outdoor activities.
You can pick up Emma Of 83rd Street in stores on Tuesday, May 23rd from Gallery Books.
