Andie Williams is a preschool teacher, who found out she’s lost her job because of funding, and the only new job she can find is across the country in Ohio. Leo Dentz works for the family business, along with his brother Dean, as an antiques refinisher, and they sell them in the store. He and his brother want to take over the business, but their father has issues with them both dating back years, and plans on selling it. On the first night of Hanukkah, Andie and Leo decide to spend it together, having dinner, and lighting the candle, and things don’t go so well. They try again the next night and things go better and they decide to spend each night of the holiday together and start to fall for each other. On the night of the family dinner, all hell breaks loose with his family, when Leo’s father sells something he shouldn’t have, Leo and Andie have a terrible fight. Out of the fight, the family is able to talk through everything, and now Leo needs to find a way to win back Andie before it’s too late. This is a well-written story, with strong characters, and a love story you root for with Andie and Leo. This is the fell-good holiday novel you need to read.
