Book Review: ‘Edenville: A Novel’ By Sam Rebelein

Campbell P Marion is a struggling author, who released his first novel, The Shattered Man, to sad reviews and sales, and is now struggling to write his second novel. He gets an offer to become a writer-in residence at Edenville College, located in upstate New York. His girlfriend, Quinn, thinks it’s a bad idea, having grown up there, and hearing rumors of bad things, and even knowing her friend vanished from there years ago. Cam accepts the job, and they move there. Once there, strange things start to happen, and Cam has disturbing nightmares. They must figure out what is going there, not get sucked into the mysterious things, and fight for their lives. A great debut novel, filled with pop-culture, well-written characters, a scary story, and a book you don’t want to put down. Here’s to more great novels for author Sam Rebelein.
