Rowan Gallagher is a single mother and a talented architect working on the family mansion for the rich Wincott family. She’s also dealing with being dumped by text a few nights ago by Tim, a reporter she had been dating. She’s been watching where he has been going via a friend app on her phone. On this night she sees he is parked at the building she is working on, grabs her dog and walks there and finds him shot to death in his car and becomes the prime suspect. She starts to learn secrets about him, and the family she’s working for and soon gets too close to the truth and finds her life in danger. A twisty, fun psychological thriller that keeps you engaged throughout the novel, with most chapters being told by a different character. Thriller fans will enjoy this one.
