Flight 1421 has taken off from Honolulu, and has troubles right away. Four minutes into the flight an engine explodes, controls won’t work, and the plane cannot turn around, and there’s no other place for them to land, except onto the ocean. For Will Kent, and his eleven-year-old daughter, it’s time to panic, along with the almost 100 passengers. The plane lands on the ocean, some evacuate into lifeboats, and with a raging fire going on around them, most don’t make it. Will, his daughter, and a handful of passengers stay on the plane, as it sinks to the bottom of the ocean, and they await, and hope to be rescued. The rescue is led by Will’s estranged wife Chris, and the chances of saving them all are slim, as the plane is on a cliff, and they don’t have a lot of oxygen, and she’s determined to save them, no matter what the costs. This book is awesome! One of the best of the summer, and the year. It’s explosive, action packed, and you will not want to put this one down. A perfect beach read.
