Book Review: ‘Down The Hatch: An Agatha Raisin Mystery’ By M.C. Beaton With R.C. Green

I love the Private Detective Agatha Raisin books and the newest one is a lot of fun in typical Agatha fashion. With a solid story and some funny LOL moments it continues the pattern of solid stories in the series. She’s out for a walk and stumbles upon a scream and when she arrives at the source she finds a dead body of a man called The Admiral. She thinks it’s murder but the police are not so sure and she butts heads once again with Chief Inspector Wilkes. Agatha decides she’s going to get to the bottom of this. She already has a bunch of clients that her team is working on but she takes a personal interest in this case. She comes up with some potential suspects and soon finds herself in danger. Someone doesn’t like her investigating and soon she finds herself in danger. But that doesn’t stop Agatha and she soons pieces everything together.

You can pick up Down The Hatch in stores on Tuesday, October 26th from Minotaur Books.
