In book number 57 in his series Stone Barrington’s past comes back to haunt him in the form of his murderous twin cousins. They have been in jail for years now after being convicted of murder (they were guilty of other crimes but the evidence was circumstantial). They are trying to buy their old family home in Maine but Stone beats them to it. And now Stone has taken to his Maine home and is looking for a way to silence them once and for all. They claim they’re model citizens but they’re not and soon things happen on the island. Stone, Dino and Ed form a plan to take them out once and for all. Oh and Stone meets a new woman while getting ice cream. He’s such a stud.
This is another good novel in the series using the back history of Stone’s family and making good use of the supporting characters of Ed and the island in Maine where he has a home.
