The second and final book in the two-book series kicks off where the first book left off. Lt. Selene Genji, who is part human and part alien, is here (in the year 2140) to stop the earth from being destroyed in the year 2180. With her is Lt. Kayl Owen, who helped her in the first book and they fell in love. Returning to Earth from Mars, they are wanted fugitives. They manage to avoid being captured and go on the run across the country. With the help of the Earth Commission, they’re taken off the most wanted list, although there are still some who want her dead. Along the way, a lot of things have changed and Selene is hopeful that these changes have saved the future of the earth. This is another intense action thriller. These characters are in danger at every turn, including a harrowing trip to Mars. Author Jack Cambell has written a sequel and finale to the first book. These two books are highly recommended.
