The setting is Sea Isle in Scotland, and summer is coming to a close. Lots of activities are taking place, including the refurbished Storyteller’s train that goes to Edinburgh. The night of the train taking off for the first time, one of the storytellers, Donald, has gone missing. His body is soon found in an office, he died of bee pollen, and it’s determined that it was murder. Dr. Emilia McRoy, who is also the coroner, and her assistant Abigail, team up with constable Ewan McGregor, and they work to find the killer. There are any number of suspects, and they find he was doing illegal things at his job as an investment expert. As they investigate, people are getting hurt, someone breaks into Emilia’s office, and she stumbles on the killer trying to kill Ewan, and Emilia could be next. This is the fourth book in the series, and it keeps getting better. The chemistry between Emilia and Ewan is off the charts, and in this novel, they slowly start getting together, and it is something exciting to look forward to in future novels. Fans of the series will enjoy this one.
