At their engagement party, Maine game warden Mike Bowditch and Stacey are at her parent’s house to celebrate, when they hear an awful sound from the lake. Arriving on the scene, Mike finds an arm, and a naked body in the water, a hit-and-run, and now has an investigation to begin. Then the next day they discover a woman is missing as well, and Mike finds her naked body in the water, she was murdered. Now there are two investigations going, and Mike thinks they’re both related. There are a lot of potential suspects, and the closer he gets to the truth, his life is in danger, and he may not make it to his wedding. This is another great novel in the series. Long time fans will eat this one up, especially the ending.
