After taking care of Victor, the leader of the dark ones, the Shepherds are feeling pretty good. Jed, an ex-Navy Seal, is the leader of his outfit, Joshua Bravo Team, and is told for everyone to go on a two-week vacation, then his team is getting a promotion. Jed heads to the Dominican Republic, where trouble ensues for him. He soon finds out the dark ones have been kidnapping children and that something even more sinister is taking place, a new leader is looking to take over. it leads to a massive battle of good vs. evil, in the ultimate showdown. This is the fourth book in the series, my first, and I really enjoyed the action and story. Andrews & Wilson are masters of the action-adventure genre and prove once again why they’re so good at writing these types of novels.
