It’s weeks after the mantle has fallen and Elsira and Lagrimar are struggling to unite as one. Elsira people want to be their own land. Jasmina is the Queen and is about to marry Jack, who will be the king. They want to keep both as one nation. And a rogue group doesn’t want it and has planted a bomb and have more acts planned.

Kyara is being held hostage by people that have a deadly plan to bring back the undead. Her powers are being drained and soon she won’t have any left. Darvyn is sent on a mission to bring back Jasmina’s family who is still alive. And he’s also led to believe that he will find Kyara. The mission is a success but comes with a price for Kyara and Darvyn and their future together.

This is another good chapter in the story of Elsira and Lagrimar. With some twists and turns and a lot of magic and action it’s a satisfying next adventure in the series. And the way it ends helps set up the next novel in the series.
