Tressa Fay, a hairdresser, gets a text from someone she does not know, a woman named Meryl, and they click when they decide to keep texting with each other. Both are gay and decide to meet up and when Tressa gets to where Meryl is she can’t find her. She thinks she has been catfished and blocks the number. Then Meryl’s sister, Gayle shows up and asks what she’s trying to pull. It seems Meryl vanished and no one has heard from her in a while. Then it is noted that Meryl’s texts are dated in May and it’s October now. She and her friends figure out they are dealing with a paradox, involving parallel universes. It seems they have met many times and as the date comes closer to when Meryl vanished, Tressa wonders if they have done enough to change whatever happened to Meryl. This is a fun romance set through time and space with the two main characters. With lol moments and tender moments, this a perfect love story.
