Neil moved to LA from London years ago, lived with Ethan, opened their own business, got engaged, and then things fell apart, and she’s back in London, where things are way different. All her friends are married with kids, and finding a place to live is expensive. She finds a room living with Richard, who has a list of rules, that can annoying. She gets a job writing obituaries, starts a podcast (named the title of this book), and lists the things she likes. Then she meets Cricket, who is 81, and lost her husband, who Neil will right about for her first death. They quickly bond, and together they help each other move on with their lives, both personally and professionally. This is a well-written character driven novel that you get invested in early, and want to keep reading, and has some LOL moments you will enjoy.
