In book one U.S. Army veteran John Reiff died and was brought back to life as part of a secret program that altered his DNA. After complications, his body was frozen and now 23 years later he has been awakened by a machine that has been invented to unfreeze and wake frozen people. A secret group, called the Nine, is after John and his friends, wanting the secret to his survivial, where others have failed and died. This group wants to discover this secret, freeze themselves until it’s perfected, and then take over the world. When they catch John and Rachel, who has discovered the cure, they find a lot more than they ever thought and it could change things forever. This is a great follow-up to his first novel, Deep Freeze, with a twist you don’t see coming. Hopefully, there will be a lot more stories in the series.
