The 21st novel in the Temperance Brennan series is another great thriller, which looks to her past and sends the reader on quite the ride. Temperance is excited her daughter Katy is home and moving into her own house. She’s looking forward to spending time with her, until she finds a package at her house containing an eyeball. As she traces it down, more body parts are found and they harken back to previous cases she has worked on. She enlists the help of Slidell and her boyfriend Andrew Ryan, to figure out what’s going on. Then her daughter goes missing and becomes really personal for her. Just who is targeting her and will her daughter pay the ultimate price? With cliffhanger endings and twists, fans of this series will be very happy.
