Clover Hendry, a TV producer at the BBC, wakes up with a bad headache and takes to Vicodin, and it changes her whole mood and life. She passes out briefly at the train station, wakes up and has had it. She tells her boss off, and takes the day off. It leads to a day of wild adventures, including a fight with a couple over a taxi, wrecking an art display, losing a big client, lying to her husband, and telling off her overbearing mother, and having a damn good time. But everything catches up with her by that evening, and she has a lot to fix. This is a rip-roaring (LOL), well-written, fun time. You follow every moment of her day, and enjoy doing it. Sit down, relax, and have a good time reading this one.
