The year is 1914 and WWII is about to start and Isaac Bell finds German spies on American soil and in the ocean, as arms are being sent to England. A radio transmitter is found, a ship has been sunk, and another one is on the way. Isaac must do what he can to protect the ship that has just left and is able to save the day. Months later he once again discovers German spies are operating in America, and he’s on the case, along with Joe Marchetti, a naval ensign, who is the one that suspects the spies. Bell and Marchetti have numerous adventures to root out the spies, stop them from sabotaging, and face an old foe he never thought he would see again. Both his life and Joe’s are on the line, as they race against time and try to survive the sinking of the RMS Lusitania. This is the first solo novel from author Jack Du Brul and it is great. He writes Isaac perfectly and continues series on a high note, all action and I assume Clive Cussler would be so proud. Fans of the series will also be happy.

You can pick up Clive Cussler The Sea Wolves: An Isaac Bell Novel in stores on Tuesday, November 8th from Putnam.
