Kurt Austin and Joe Zavala are on a remote island in the Indian Ocean, when whales start beaching themselves as well as other animals. Something weird is going on and they’re taking samples and notes, when a man helps start a riot and steals their laptop and notes. Then Kurt gets a mysterious message on his NUMA phone, and he and NUMA think their system, led by Max, their AI, has been compromised. They are able to trace the source of what’s going on to a remote island, owned by a billionaire, who has a supercomputer of his own, and is creating a deadly virus and an army of cloned men and women, looking to make a super race to take over the world and it’s up to Kurt and Joe to try and stop him. This is another exciting novel in the series. I love the characters of Kurt and Joe and their bromance. Author Graham Brown has written another winner in the series.
