Book Review: ‘Clive Cussle Fire Strike: An Oregon Files Novel’ By Mike Maden

Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon are up to their necks in trouble. Juan is asked to help out a former Israeli spy find her missing brother, which leads them to Africa, and a race of superhuman, jacked-eup on steroids men. The action also takes place in the Amazon, where Indians are being hunted and killed for their DNA. And in Saudi Arabia, a plot is underway to take the throne from the next crown prince. And two hypersonic missiles have been stolen, and a plan is to use them in the Middle East, and drag the United States into a war they have nothing to do with. Juan has a lot on his plate, and there are daring missions, rescues, and the whole crew is in danger. Who lives, who dies, and how Juan hopefully can stop all this, highlights the next thrilling novel in the series. Author Mike Maden has done a great job since taking over this series, and there’s action galore in this novel. The opening few chapters are as exciting as any action-adventure novel this year. Fans of the series will be happy.

You can pick up Clive Cussler Fire Strike in stores on Tuesday, June 6th from Putnam.
