The sixth novel in the Jeremy Logan series (my first time reading one) is a solid, technological thriller, which at times is really hard to read and unstand all the lingo. If you put all that aside, as well as all the medical jargon, it’s an intense read, that keeps you engaged throughout. Jeremy Logan is known as a man that finds solutions to things nobody else can. He’s hired by the Chrysalis Group to find out about a strange death of one of their board members. Then more board members die in strange ways. The group is like their own small world and are the forerunners in virtual reality and are about to role out a new version of their product. Jeremy is trying to find out what is going on and when strange messages appear and demand money or a lot of people will die, Jeremy is on a time-crunch to figure out what and who is responsible for what’s going on. It leads to a series of more deaths, shootouts and a climatic showdown. Fans of Child and of his books writtern with Douglas Preston will enjoy this one.
You can pick up Chrysalis in stores on Tuesday, July 12th from Doubleday.
