Book Review: ‘Chameleon: A Black Box Novel’ By Remi Adeleke

Black Box is a secret special operations unit under the CIA, and not many know about it. They carry out jobs that no else can know about or handle. They are an elite group of men and women, specially trained and picked. When people start getting kidnapped, and then ransomed, and making stock markets around the world go up and down, Black Box is on the case. It leads to a man named Lucas Van Groot, who has made millions, and has a team of his own, with a new product that can make planes seem invisible, and jam comms. Led by Kali Ken, a Nigerian born man, the team is all over the world in pursuit of this man, to stop him, and save one of their own who was taken. And to figure out how to stop them, if means Kali has to go back to his past, in order to stop Lucas, and prevent WWIII. This is the debut novel from author Adeleke, a former Navy SEAL, an actor, and filmmaker. And it is a GREAT debut. It’s all action, with well-written characters, and plot you just want to keep reading. Fans of authors like Jack Carr, Mark Greaney, Don Bentley, Gregg Hurwitz, will love this book. Welcome to the world of action thrillers, Mr. Adeleke, and I look forward to lots more adventures with this crew.
