Kate Buckley and her two daughters have moved back to Shamrock for the summer and maybe for good. It’s time for the annual the Great Shamrock Fair, and Kate is helping her parents get the house ready for all the people that will be arriving. As things gear up, Kate’s ex-husband, Ian, arrives in town with his band to play, and with his new fiancée, Fallon, who ends up being found murdered. Kate decides to investigate the murder, with the help of her father and oldest daughter, and as she gets closer to the truth, she’s warned to back off or else. A fun small town murder mystery, with a great setting and use of the Irish festival and everything Irish. This is the second book in the series, and it’s a good follow-up to The Jig Is Up.
