Harper Ross took over her family’s construction business after her father died and they nearly lost it because of mismanagement. She has been hired to redo one of the grand brownstones on Park Avenue after her friend bought it. Also on board is Reid Dorsey and his brother Jerimiah, as designers, they had their own TV reality show for a few years. This will be filmed for a new reality show and Harper and Reid do not hit it off at first. There’s a strong sexual chemistry between them as they but heads and soon it turns to passion and they’re having hot sex. Things are working out well until something from the past threatens to derail Harper and Reid and the whole project and they have to band together to figure out a solution. This is a fun, sexy, steamy novel with two characters that are fun to watch spar and then be together. This is the third novel in this series and my first time reading one and it is good. A perfect Memorial Day beach read.
