Book Review: ‘Bound By Murder: An Antique Bookshop Mystery’ By Laura Gail Black

The third book in the antique bookshop series is another charming, small-town mystery, with fun characters and an awesome dog named Eddy. Jenna Quinn is the owner of Twice Upon A Time bookstore and sales have been good. She still has a reputation for having been on trial for murder and embezzlement, all charges were dropped, and now her ex-boyfriend Blake has come to town to get married to Missy, a bridezilla and a snob, at the new wedding chapel/hotel. Jenna is happy with Keith and in love but it causes tension, especially when Blake tells Jenna how sorry he is and wants her back. Then Missy is found dead and the suspects line up, with Blake being arrested and charged with the murder. Jenna doesn’t think he did it and it causes issues with Keith, who is a detective on the force. Jenna investigates and learns tidbits around town. When she finally puts the pieces together, her life is once again in jeopardy and thanks to someone close to her, it may not be the end. If you a fan of these kind of novels, you will enjoy this one.
