Ethan Cain is a former special ops pilot and now has his own business, he’s a treasure hunter. He’s been hired to find the legendary Ark Of The Covenant and he’s in Mozambique doing just that. He also has a group of Iranians on his tail, who want it for the their own devious plans. Once he finds it, all hell breaks loose. A rocketship comes flying in the water near him and has a woman named, Mogdeh, in it. She was aboard the space station, which has blown up, killing everyone but her and Ethan knows nothing about that. She used to be a spy for America and then pledged herself to Iran. Ethan and his crew are on the run, Iranians on their asses, people die, there’s shootouts and Ethan and Mogdeh are left in the jungles of Africa, needing to get to Pakistan to recover the Ark and word comes that a satellite in space has been hacked and is ready to destroy 12 United States cities. The rush is on to stop that before it’s too late. This is the debut novel from author Ryan Pote, he is someone to watch in the future if he keeps writing novels like this, and it’s awesome. The action, the characters, and the story are all top-notch. Fans of action thrillers will love this one. I can’t wait to see what he does with his next novel, hopefully featuring Ethan Cain.
