Book Review: ‘Better Off Dead: A Jack Reacher Novel’ By Lee Child And Andrew Child

The Child brothers are back with their next exciting Jack Reacher novel. It’s a thrill-ride as usual right from the beginning to the very end. There’s no other way to put it…Jack Reacher is the man! All Jack Reacher wants to do is get to the west coast and to the ocean. But Jack is always in the wrong place at the wrong time. He gets involved when he sees a woman, last name Fenton, in a fight and helps her and learns her story. She’s looking for her brother Michael, who’s invovled with a bad man named Waad Dendoncker, who keeps himself well hidden. A plan is put into motion where they will try and ambush his men, Jack will ‘die’ which will bring Dendoncker out into the open. The plan doesn’t go quite according to plan and Fenton is captured. So Jack goes to work to find her and bring down Dendoncker, as he learns there may be bombs exploded and Jack will do what he can to stop this. A solid story with lots of action keeps the reader engaged throughout. And on a side note there’s a Jack Reacher series coming to Amazon (which maked me very happy).

You can pick up Better Off Dead in stores on Tuesday, October 26th from Delacorte Press.
