Book Review: ‘Begin Again: A Novel’ Helly Acton

Frankie McKenzie is going to die in an hour by a freak accident, and at the moment is on a blind date. When she dies, she finds herself in a place that is not heaven or hell, but an in between, and she’s given a choice, go back and relive five decisions from her life, and pick one and go back, or she can die for good. She relives the five moments, and finds out how different her life could have been, and how different she is in each one. So now she has to decide, does she want one of those lives or to die. She’s lead through all this with her guide Mabel (a great character). This is a good debut novel from Helly Acton, that hits all the right notes. Fans of rom-coms will like this different approach to the genre.
