Mia Crawford works for an accounting firm in New York City and is offered a partnership but first, she’s told to go on a mandatory vacation. She goes to a private island in the Caribbean, for two weeks of sun, fun and hopefully meet a hot man for no-strings sex. When she gets there she finds she is one of only single people and hears about a missing American woman named Siana. When she picks up a book she finds writing on pages and figures out it has to do with Diana and that she was blackmailing people. Her body is soon found and Mia, along with Brie, investigate as much as they can. Then another body is found, the head of security, who was the prime suspect. Mia also gets close with Jason, a bartender, and they soon have hot sex and fall for each other. When the killer is finally revealed, a shocking secret about Jason comes out and it could derail things between him and Mia. This is an intense murder mystery, with quirky supporting characters, steamy sex and a hot couple in MIa and Jason. A perfect summer beach read.
