Andie, who is English, and now lives in New York, working as a top publicist at a New York publishing house, her dream job. She gets a big new assignment, to handle the month-long tour of author Jack Carlson, which she should be excited about but she’s not. Five years ago they were students together and he did something and she can’t forgive him. She has to go with him for a month and it will take everything in her to do her job and survive this tour. Things start to get better between the two until the past comes up again and things go downhill. Will Andie be able to forgive him and will it mean a new beginning for them? This is the debut novel from author Gillam and it’s a good one. It’s smart, sexy, and funny at times and also looks at handling grief and getting past it. Throw in a strong supporting cast, especially Sara, and this is a winner.
