Two years ago Ava’s husband, Hector, came home and told her he wanted a divorce. After these two years, she’s finally divorced and ready to try and move on with her life. She’s still hurt by what went down and has an overbearing family that doesn’t let her forget about him. At a convention, Ava decides she’s going to let go and when she meets Roman, a hot 40-year-old, who owns the hotel she’s staying at, is rich, sexy and just what she needs. She has dinner with him and then mind-blowing hot sex (in graphic detail). She tells him it’s just a one-time thing, he gives her his number and says to call anytime. A few months later she calls, makes rules for them, and calls him every once in a while, wanting to keep it quiet. Her cousin is getting married and she is the maid of honor, it turns out the groom’s best friend is Roman and he’s the best man. When Roman wants more from Ava, she has a big decision to make, admit how she feels and tell her family and friends or walk away ignoring her heart. This is the third book in this series, and like the previous two, is great. You root for this couple to be together and is one of the first great beach reads of summer.
