Book Review: ‘All Of Us Villains: A Novel’ By Amanda Foody And Christine Lynn Herman

It started centuries ago, when every 20 years seven families in the city of Ilvernath will compete during the Blood Moon for control over the High Magick for the next 20 years. There cannot be a winner until only one is left standing and has killed the others. This use to be a very underground thing, until a tell-all book was published and now people come to watch. The book follows four of the competitors…Alistair Lowe(the favorite to win it), Isobel Macaslan, Briony Thorburn and Gavin Grieve. One of the contestants wants to try and end this curse that takes place every 20 years but the others are out to win it at all costs. Each family tries to cut deals and learn as much about the others and as the tournament goes on, each will learn a lot more about themselves than they ever thought they could. If you’re a fan of magic novels, this one is perfect for you. Once things get going, it becomes very exciting and yes may I say spell-binding.

You can pick up All Of Us Villains in stores on Tuesday, November 9th from Tor.
