Author Molly Harper is back with her next story in her Souther Eclectic series title Ain’t She A Peach. Fans of the series will be happy with this story as it focuses this time on Frankie McCready.
She’s 28 and still lives at home. She doesn’t have the heart to tell her parents she wants to move out. She’s also the county coroner for the McCready’s Family Funeral Home & Bait Shop in Lake Sackett, just outside of Atlanta. Frankie always seems to be at work (as there seems to be lots of dead bodies lately) and butting heads with the new temporary Sheriff Eric Linden. She has a past with him in Atlanta.
Now they have a frosty (a love/hate) relationship. There’s been recent breakins at the Funeral home and Frankie thinks she knows who it is. This brings her and Eric closer together until they can’t resist each other. The closer they get the more they learn about each other and that may not be a good thing or it might be.
All the other family members are back as well with Tootie and her dogs, Duffy drinking and Margot makes a big decision and learns so big news.
It’s another fun visit with the outrageous family that star in Molly’s series of stories set in Lake Sackett. They’re funny, easy reads and something to look forward to every year.
Ain’t She A Peach is in stores on Tuesday, June 12th from Gallery Books.
