Evie Lang has lost her beloved Aunt, who lived in San Francisco, she has lost her job, and was let go by her secret boyfriend, who is also her boss. She soon learns her Aunt left her the mansion she owns, it’s worth a fortune, but to get it she must take a three-week matchmaking tour in her native Vietnam, which her Aunt has already paid for. It’s the last thing she wants to do, but decides to go, where she meets Adam, the CMO of the tour, and also one of the people looking for love. He’s had his own heartbreak, and has to deal with an overbearing father. At first, she doesn’t really like him, but they grow close, have hot sex, and fall for each other. The only problem is she’s leaving to go back to the States, and he is staying in Vietnam, and his father doesn’t approve of her, and Evie is told some news, and up and leaves, until Adam makes the ultimate sacrifice, will it be enough to keep them together? This is a fantastic rom-com, watching these two fall in love, with a great setting in Vietnam, the author makes you feel like you are there. A perfect way to start off your fall reading.
