The setting is Misletoe, Maine and Holly and Evan are about to celebrate their one-year-anniversay when they find out she’s going to have a baby. With high blood pressure, she’s told to take it easy, and Evan warns her as well. Then a woman is murdered, and Holly is one of the people to find the body, and now wants to help find the killer, and Evan asks her not to get involved. With the Christmas holidays fast approaching, Holly has been getting cryptic messages and comes up with a plan to try and make the killer come forward, and it could be bad news for her and her baby. This is the sixth novel in the series, and it’s another good one. With Holly being pregnant, it adds another layer to this story, and all the usual supporting characters are here and ready for the holidays. Fans of the series will enjoy this one.
