Book two of the series finds Edie Brown still working hard to get the family antiques business getting better sales, and making more money to cover all the bills. It’s been a tough time, but she’s determined not to give up. When Anna Gorin’s mother dies, she gets Edie, and Uncle Tuck to come look at stuff she wants to see. There’s not a lot of good stuff, and then Edie sees a painting on the wall, that looks like a famous painting by Vespa, a world-famous painter. Anna claims it was down by her brother in art therapy. Edie can’t let it go, and continues to investigate it, and soon opens up a world of trouble. There’s so much more involved with this painting, and certain people don’t like her sticking her nose in, and soon she finds herself in trouble yet again. All the major characters are back for this sequel, including her hot boyfriend. These small-town murder mysteries are a lot of fun, and this is a good second novel.

You can pick up A Wealth Of Deception in stores on Tuesday, April 18th from Crooked Lane.
