In San Francisco, Capri Sanzio runs a ghost tour, and on this night, one of the women, Lorraine Kostricka, claims she saw a woman being attacked in an apartment building on the route. The police are called, and nothing is found wrong in the apartment. Capri, who helped solve two murders in the first book, decides to investigate, and soon learns that the woman in the apartment, artist Leeya Styles, is missing and is later found dead. She teams up with detective Dan Petito, whom she has also started dating, on the case. She interviews everyone she can find who knew Leeya, and soon finds her life in danger, and she thinks she has found the killer, or has she? This is a fun follow-up to the first novel. Capri is a fun character, and her pending romance with Petito is refreshing and fun. They make a fun duo, and I am up for more adventures with these characters.
