They need to retrieve a magical book, the Grimorium Bellum, a dark magic book before Hitler gets his hands on it. There is a German coven helping Hitler and if he gets his hands on the book it would mean world domination. When Isadora is murdered by a German witch, Lydia takes it upon herself to get the book back. She arrives in France and teams up with Rebecca and Henry, who can talk to the dead and find the book, but is attacked and left for dead. Henry and Rebecca escape with the book and soon are joined by Lydia and a shocking betrayal is revealed and a battle for the soul of the book takes place. This is the debut fantasy novel from author Ryan and it is a page-turning masterpiece. The magic, the WWII storyline and the last third of this novel is intense. This one is not to be missed.
