Capri Sanzio lives in San Francisco, is a true-crime podcaster, and has a tour guide of places where murders and horrible things have taken place. On the tour today, a woman named Hailey Torres is in San Francisco looking for her mother who vanished days ago. She asks Capri for her help and reveals that it also has to do with the murder of her Aunt in 1967. Her mother was investigating her death, when no leads or suspects were found back then. Capri agrees to look into her mother’s disappearance and the murder all those years ago. With the help of her police officer boyfriend, she starts to put the pieces together of what happened then and now, and even gets a threat to back off. That doesn’t stop Capri, and she figures it all out, but finds her life in danger when she confronts the killer. This is the third novel in the series, and it’s another good one. Capri is a strong, smart woman who doesn’t stop until she finds the truth. The supporting cast also adds a lot to the story. Fans of the first two will enjoy this one.
