Travis Wren is known for finding people and he’s hired to find the author Maggie St. James, who went missing five years ago. He’s hot on her trail and tracks her to Pastoral, a hidden community deep in the woods, where people never leave. There told not to go past a certain point or they will get sick and if they come back they’ll invest the rest of the people. But Travis vanishes and now we are following the people of Pastoral, some who want to leave. But evidence is soon found that Travis and Maggie were once here, and Theo starts investigating and finds clues that they were here at one point. And then shocking secrets come out and a major twist reveals just what happened to Travis and Maggie and what’s really going on in Pastoral. A solid-thriller, that has lots of twists and turns you don’t see coming. You will not want to put it down.

You can pick up A History Of Wild Places in stores on Tuesday, December 7th from Atria.
