Kate soon learns that her mother made a deadly deal with King Below, who is in charge of the underworld, and it will happen on Halloween. Kate and Matthew fall for each other, but soon shocking secrets are revealed, his part in all of what’s happening, and then an ultimate showdown between Kate and the King Below takes place, with shocking consequences. This is an intense, magical novel, that keeps you engaged in the story. Fans of witches and magic will enjoy this one.
