Alyssa, Nina, Lanie, and Corinne are all best friends and are always there for each other. Alyssa can see ghosts and on Christmas Eve she sees one and again a few days later and then the girl turns up dead. Nina has discovered she has a new power and also confesses a secret to her about her past, she had a baby when she was young and her marriage to Richard, who is in jail and trying to get the charges dropped. Nina decides to try and find the baby, the women band together to try and solve the mysteries going. Nick West, her hunky neighbor and potential new boyfriend is also on the case and the four friends must work fast as someone wants to stop them and it will take everything they have to stay alive. This is a great follow-up to the first novel, An Enchanting Case of Spirits, with friendship and love taking center stage. A good magical story and a new romance heat up in this fun novel.
