Twenty years ago in Fells, New York, Violet, Vail and Dodie were playing hide and seek with their five-year-old brother, Ben, and on that day, he vanished, never to be found. No one ever figured out what happened to him. Now, in 1998, Violet gets a call from the man watching the house, his company is quitting. A ghost of a boy has been seen, and it is freaking everyone out. The three rush back to the house and are determined to figure out once and for all what happened all those years ago. They all see visions and ghosts, and Violet has been haunted by one her whole life, her name is Sister. They investigate with Ben leaving them clues, and they soon learn shocking things about their past, who Ben really was, and what happened to him. This is another incredible novel by author Simone St. James, who never disappoints with her novels. This book is one that you don’t want to put down. A page-turning, ghostly read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
