A year ago, a big black bear named Macho went on a rampage and killed Brick’s mother, and left his younger brother in a wheelchair. Brick, who is a well-built man who won heavyweight wrestling championships in college and has won UFC fights, was determined to kill the bear by his own hands. Everyone thought the bear died, but today he is back and on the warpath. Now, Brick is determined to have his revenge and sets out into the woods to hunt him down, armed with no guns or knives, just his hands and a plan he has put together. When they come face to face, it’s the bear brawl of the year. This is a great novel at just 239 pages, it is an easy read, and all action from the very beginning. Author Jon Finkel ramps up the action right away and never lets up. Fans of action-thrillers will not want to miss this one.
